TOZ Problem

Post by dsj »

Set trigger won't set . Was working ok, then with pistol resting on bench ready for next shot ,set trigger , 10 seconds later pistol went off wile still on bench finger no were near trigger. Try to reset, lever goes down ok but comes up with a crunchy feeling and sears unset. Dropped trigger unit down can't see anything broken.

Leaf spring is broken or sear needs to be reset

Post by montster »

Do a search and you will find more about this and different fixes.

If it is the leaf spring that happened to me. Ordered a replacement from Larry's.

If spring not broken follow instructions to adjust the sear.

Good luck!

TOZ Problem ( still have problem)

Post by dsj »

Haven't found a web site that helped yet. The issue is the sears are not engaging.I thought the upper sear looked warren so I replaced it.The new one look like old one. Not the problem. The sear adjustment screw backed out dosen't help. Any ideas?

Turn the weight screw in a couple of turns. If it's set too light the sear will not engage.

As this are the only two screws that adjust the trigger, if adding weight doesn't work you've probably got something broken or needing replacement.

Hope this helps.
