I think it's pretty cool, it's like a form of biathlon, but not restricted to geographical location. But there's going to have to be different classes if its going to be a "sport for all". A 6'5" runner is going to have a lot of advantages over a runner who's 5'7".

It's not a shooting event, it's a running event with a bit of shooting.
(We call it "summer biathalon" here in NM)

Like biathalon, it will be easier to recruit championship runners and train them in shooting, than to take shooters and train them in running.

The "runners" have the advantage

Hmm, I see your point,

Still it's got my interest, perhaps changing the knock down targets to a scoring system that subtracts from time in a point system could help even the playing field?

But I agree, it is a running sport, I even thought that before I posted.

Don't get me wrong, it's a fun sport.

But so is hang gliding, fencing, parachuting, and many more.

I wish ISSF would spend the time making clear & understandable rules that don't need interpretation.
I'm juuuuust sayin'

What happened to the penalty laps? Yup, runners sure do have an advantage.
