Selecting a 25m Center Fire Pistol

Yesterday I shot a Walther GSP .32 Wadcutter, and I liked the feel of the pistol.

I was considering the purchase of a .32 pistol, therefore I wanted to ask you your opinions.

At the moment I'm considering the Walther GSP and the Pardini HP.

What are your thoughts on these pistols and are there other to consider?

I love the pistol, shoot great, feels right.
I have the Expert grips.
It's been a great pistol for a long time.

Consider the Hammerli SP20, very reliable and a dream to shoot.

There are a number of different centrefire pistols and revolvers that can be used (and different calibres).
Pick on a make/model that is in current production with a local dealer for support, use you local clubs and if possible to try each of the pistols and see how they fit you hand for grip, balance and feel.
Then go out and buy one, include in your costs buying a press and reloading gear, as it is a lot cheaper to reload than buy factory ammo.

You may want to search the archives here at Targettalk. All of the commonly used 32 wadcutter pistols have been discussed in detail. You'll find that each to be problematic in one capacity or another be it accuracy, reliability and even long term durability, at least in the opinion of some shooters.

I held both the Pardini and Walther, prefer the Pardini. Grip ergo wse, but also weight/balance wise
