precise stock trigger guard question

I just ordered a 1918 precise stock to fit my 1913 barreled action and it should be here thursday. Today i was shooting standing and tried shooting off my fist i like the way it felt and held but the only comfortable way to achieve this was by shooting off the stock with my glove fingers barely touch the trigger guard i was wondering if i can still shoot this way with the new precise stock without having to buy the trigger guard that completely encloses the trigger
