Does anyone have any plans for building NRA 100 yard prone target frames.

Thank you

Yes, you are more likely correct. However I do not want to buy the book to find out.

Thanks

There is no official target frame, most club build a frame to match the target.
It can be built out if simple 1 x 4 pine.
Place a target on a Masonite board, make cut outs for the 3 black areas of the bull.
You will need to route the front edge for clips. I use wall board screws to attach the Masonite. A screw at the top and bottom is all you need.
I would place the target so it is at least 12" off the ground.
You will need a number board, top and bottom of frame.
If you plan on running registered matches, you need backer boards.
I forgot the distance it is behind the target.
A 1x2 strip with a slot cut on one side to hold the backer board and target.
Attached to the side with 3/8 bolt and wing nut.
Google NRA and Camp Perry matches for photos to see some.
I am sure someone in your club will have an idea of how to make one.
How you stand them, is up to you and the range requirements.
