Montana Gold Bullets?

Post by Fred T »

What is the general consensus of these bullets? I seem to have several thousand available to me and am not sure about their 50yd. capability.
Thanks

THEY ARE A GOOD BULLET. BUT NOT GREAT.

IN 9MM THE XTP JHP ARE MUCH BETTER, ZERO BULLETS ARE BETTER ALSO. IN 9MM THE BEST I COUD GET OUT OF THE MG WERE 2.5" AT 50YDS. THE ZEROS WERE 1.75" AND THE XTP'S WERE 1-1.25".
9MM FMJ SIERRA 8115'S WERE THE BEST AT1.75",WITH ZERO ABOUT .375-.75" BEHIND THAT. THE MG'S LAGGED AT ABOUT 5".
IN .45 185GR JHP THE BEST I COULD GET WITH MG WAS 2.75" . THE BEST I COULD DO WITH THE 230RD WERE 4.5".

RANSOM REST TESTED IN SEVERAL MATCH BUILT GUNS AT 50YDS.
JUST MY HUMBLE RESULTS. JP

I like them for training. At fifty yards they shoot very well. In matches I shoot Zero.

I looked at the prices, which are higher than the Zeros. I would certainly shoot them if someone gave them to me, but considering that the price is higher than the Zeros, there is no reason not to go with what I know.

I believe their price includes shipping.
