FWB Aw-93 problem

Bought a AW-93 a few weeks ago (brand new).I love the gun. I have shot about 2500 rds. so far. Within the last week it has "doubled" three separate occassions with at least 200 rds. of no problems in between. Each time it has been on rapid fire and always on the 4th and 5th shot.
Has any else heard of this problem? What can cause this? What can be done to correct the problem?

Have you messed with the trigger adjustments any? It is incredibly easy to push the AW into doubling by a simple wrong turn of an adjustment screw.
I am going to suggest you call Tod Utter. You may need to send him the gun.

If you turned the little screw on the back strap you have it set too close, if not turn it a 1/4 turn counter clockwise and it should correct the issue. Be sure to just load 2 rounds then point down range to check it.

Check the chamber face for any signs of peening; this can cause doubling on the IZH-35M which is sort of similar to the AW-93.

The aw93 is not subject to peening like the izh, much better and harder steel is used. Ive seen aw's with hundreds of thousands of rounds fired with no peening. Its just an adjustment issue in sure.

Isabell was right. I contacted Todd Utter and over the phone he walked me through a total disassemby of the trigger. Sure enough, I broke a part "messing' with the trigger. Todd was great. He is sending me the part and will walk me through the reassembly and final adjustment.
His knowledge of the gun is only matched be his patients . A really great guy. I can't say enough about how helpful he was.
