my son was wondering why he keeps shoot a round in the 11o'clock position. he is shooting with a 32x scope at 50 yards. Could it be his NPA, heartbeat, his hold, breathing???

thank you

Don't forget to include follow thru which can be a HUGE contributor to that problem. If I'm left of target (especially in rapid fire stages) I always know it is lack of follow thru if my NPA is on the money.

A few times my junior shooters will allow their left elbow to creep under the gun, this will cause shots mostly at 11 o'clock. Make sure when they load the left elbow does not move also.

It could be a lot of things. It could be losing focus on the reticle. It could be cheek pressure, parallax, fatigue, creeping up on the scope, etc.

Watch his position closely as he shoots. You may see what it is. A lot of phones have video now. Try using that. There are lots of ways to catch things like this these days.

Are the rest of his shots on call?
