Toz 35 grip modification question

Post by vHoff »

I finally have a chance to modify my grip.

I'm planning to use a dremel and some wood putty to make it a better fit than it is now. I was wondering: is there a way to modify the grip off of the gun (especially the sanding) and then put it back on without having to separate the two halves. I suspect they will be welded together by the putty.

Alternatively, if I have to modify the grip on the gun, what protective measures can I take to prevent any debris from getting into sensitive areas?

Thanks all.

You can stick a piece of thin greasy plastic between the grip halves. Apply the epoxy. The plastic is easily ground away by the moto-tool while shaping and the remaining plastic removed.

The epoxy does snap easily when partially hardened, though. You can go that route, which I prefer.
