On Sunday, we had a good southwest wind and sunny skies. Scores were down due to the wind. They are using targets from Kruger in Germany and they are thicker paper which means two things - they tear easily and the hole you see is pretty much what it will plug. Some of the masters are down at the west end in the moguls. The CMP shot their rimfire match on Sunday and they started before the NRA matches started - must have been a big crowd.

Today (Monday) the southwest wind was fierce. In the first match there was some minor sprinkles and once that stormy weather cleared out, then came the wind with it sometimes gusting over 20mph. Obviously this impacted the scores. Lots of torn targets with many people having to run back to get new targets on every target change. They were also short on backers so they were using the back side of 50 meter targets for backers. And in the wind, the backer boards were sometimes blowing off. Tents were also bending in the wind and blowing over. It was a challenging day.
