Tau 200 JR o-ring leak

Post by ilionkid »

My used Tau 200 just arrived and after the initial charge I checked for possible leaks and found one where the CO2 chamber meets the endcap at the valve block. I need a source for the parts for this gun or just the size of this o-ring. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mike Powers

You mean the screw on adapter leaks?
You can easily take it apart, and check for dirt or problems.
Just remove the circlip iirc.
There are some shops that can stock Tau parts: topgun airguns, cibles canada targets, guns 'n things..but often you dont need it. Than its just dirt.

Or do you mean the seal where the cilinder screws onto the action?
The cilinder isnt difficult to remove; it has a cut-out in it, to fit a tool. Than just screw it off.

The gas chamber screws onto an endcap that attaches to the action. There is an o-ring that seals the chamber to this endcap (not the piercing cap...the other end0. I am sure it is a common metric o-ring, I am just not sure of the size.
