Where do I put the beef?

I am a fairly new shooter at the young age of 50...The bigges problem I have seems to be that I run out of breath half-way through a match. At 5'11 and 230 pounds, I rest all my weight on my chest which becomes very frustrating. Am I resting my weight wrong? Other than losing a few pounds, does anyone have a torso suggestion for balance?

Try to get yourself lying more to your side and take some of the weight off the centre of your body, drawing up your right leg will help this.
