Looking to purchase an FWB CO2, but want to ensure I receive all the original accessories needed to fill it before I commit to a sale. What should I look for? The owners manual mentions a "filler connection with filter seal", is the "filler connection" just the threads on the cylinder being filled, if so can teflon tape on the threads replace the "filter seal" if it's missing? Also which weights were standard or were they all optional ?

Hi I have 2 X FWB C25s, one of which is for sale, but I am located in the UK.

The adapter to fill the CO2 cartridge has a filter in it. The adapter connects the cartridge to the CO2 tank, and has to be screwed on tight. Also you need the bleed valve, to release excess CO2 if you have overfilled the cartridge.

Also ideally the spanner that is used to unscrew the cartridge from the gun in case it gets stuck , but it should not be used to screw the cartridge on to the gun, hand strength is enough. I never need to use the spanner so if it is missing from the kit it's no problem.
So essentially you need the filling adapter and the bleed valve. These can be bought in Europe if they are missing.

Good luck

The filler conection is the brass bit. The filler seal/filter is a white (ish) plastic seal that has a sintered metal filter in it. It seals end on rather than on the thread so is needed. If the filter part is missing the seal will still work. I doubt that thread tape will work (and it will be a pain). The bleeder is defintately required because if you over fill (quite easy to do) the pistol will not fire properly. The bleeder is a knurled steel part and is usually rusty from the condensation.

All the FWB CO2 pistols are good pistols, now undervalued due to the shift to PCP.

I have the model 2 which I am very happy with.

You didn't say where you are located.

There is a person in California, USA who has many parts available for FWB CO2 pistols. I went to him when I lost a piece of my filling connection.

Here is a good supplier: http://www.forbesws.com.au/spare-parts.html

Or, you can inquire directly with Feinwerkbau here: http://www.feinwerkbau.de/ceasy/modules ... PageId=226

Both are most friendly and helpful.

They reply to emails in two days, or so.
