i was curious i shoot with an anschutz palm rest with out the riser block and i place my fist where the rest angles and it contacts my hand on the top of the knuckles and back of the hand is this legal

Depends on position. Latest changes: Standing (7.5.1.2.10) states the right hand may not touch the left hand, left arm or the left sleeve of the shooting jacket. Same for kneeling in 7.5.1.3.14. However for prone the rule only states that the right hand and/or arm may not touch the left arm, shooting jacket or sling (7.5.1.1.11)
