Dry fire training for rapid fire

Seamaster's thread on Keith Sanderson's video viewtopic.php?t=33845 has led to an interesting discussion re: dry fire training. Rather than have a lot of different discussions about different disciplines running in that thread I wanted to start a separate thread about dry fire training for rapid fire. One of the difficulties I have is when I incorporate the gun movement after the shot in moving to the next target it is difficult for me to separate out exactly what the pistol is doing at the moment of the dry fire shot, compared to a stationary dry fire shot in free pistol- especially in the four second series. I would like some input into what others think with regards to how to best do dry fire training for RF.
Thanks,
