Fiocchi Pardini P10 Questions...

So I have been trying to get a friends Pardini P10 working right and he put in a seal kit a year ago or so but he couldnt get it to work 100%. It was pretty dry when I got to it and so I took it all apart and lightly lubed it with some suitable light lube (tranny fluid) and I put it all back together and it works better but not great. He talked like the seal kit he put in the pistol a year ago did not include the valve seal which appears hard not sure if thats from age or if its a hard seal. Anyways 1 time out of 4 maybe more or less it varies when you pull the trigger it will not dump the air and when this happens when you go to pump it again the level likes to fly out due to air pressure. Any ideas?
