Not sure if this an old topic. Was wondering if there is any off the shelf software that would allow me to track shooter progress in 3P air? ISSF has a apple app that is pretty good but looking for desktop software can make my life easier.

As a youth coach, I made up my own spreadsheet so that I can keep track of scores from both practices and matches.
My focus with these spreadsheets (one for each shooter) is that I can keep track of Personal Records (PRs), but more importantly, the moving averages.
As we come up to major matches I can sit down with the shooters, especially those that are a bit nervous, and show them where I expect them to be (+/- a certain bit around their average) from the results of their performances over the last, say, 3-4 weeks.

I think too many try and put pressure on themselves to only shoot PRs during a match.
If they shoot wildly higher in a match we talk about not putting in effort at practice. If they shoot wildly lower we start spending lots of time on mental prep before/during the match.

The ORION program also has statistics if you have access to that program. Score, groupsize, all in trends. I have to confess I don't use it all that much except for looking at group size and how the wobble appears in the group. You can also begin to see mental fatigue in the groups and maybe get a feel that, hey, we need to work on the mental endurance of this shooter.
What is nice about ORION is that you do not have to have an electronic target for each shooter, but run the targets thru a single software program.
It's helped me as a coach .... do I use all it's capability? ... most assuredly not, but it helps with the stuff I have the time to look for.
