My 162 E has gone on the fritz. A battery corroded and leaked in the fire control circut board. I cleaned it, but new batteries in, able to dry fire a few times. Today, it will not do anything. It needs some other trigger attention and maybe seals.

Where is the best place to send a Morini for some work.

Thanks,

Lee

Why don't you ask Pilk?

162 PROBLEM

I hope my experience may helps.

I had a similar problem with my free pistol, 84E. I checked that may be some oil has corroded the contacts of the capacitor on the electronic board (probably while cleaning after each session and sometimes I used some WD40 to remove the grease on the frame, or may be its time had come. Anyway I visit to local electronic supplies and change a new capacitor solved the problem. Perhaps you can use an equipment to check the capacitor's functioning.

P.S. I mean the black fire cracker like part on the board.

Pilkington's worked on my Morini 162EI and I am very happy with the result.

Thanks for all the responses. I have contacted Pilks. The gun does need a complete overhaul, I will send it in. Luckily, I don't need the gun immediately.
