Bloop tube cleaning

What is the best way to clean a bloop tube?
Does it need to be cleaned after every session?
I heard a rumor that condensation can form in the tube. I dont see that in indoor ranges in conditioned space.
I saw someone at nationals with a drill and a mandrill with some kind of cloth. He worked at cleaning the tube for quite a while.
How clean does the id need to be?
Does the build up on the id effect accuracy?

I clean my tube every day. I use a 10 gage bore snake. Simple...a pull or two through and I'm done. If you don't clean it every day you will eventually need a drill and wire brush to clean out the caked-on crud. Yes, the build-up can affect accuracy.

I use a wadded up paper towel and push it through with a cleaning rod. Simple

It's the barrel crown that has to be cleaned. Take the bloop tube off and just run a shotgun brush, soaked in solvent through it. If you don't have an index pin for the tube, scribe some index marks to relocate the tube at the correct position.

This is what I was going to say - always wipe off the residue from the muzzle after shooting.
We had a member of our club who had a short barreled 2013 and he never took the tube off. After a couple of years he wondered why it wouldn't shoot so he took it to be checked out. When the smith removed the tube there was 1/4" of crud built up on the muzzle and the crown wasn't visible...

If Eric says that crud build up in the tube affects accuracy I'll take his word for it. I have a rag I push through when I'm done and that gets the worst out.
