Gehmann front iris with crossbar

I have an older model Gehmann front iris with crossbar that I bought used. The aperture adjustment seems to work fine, but when I screw the iriis tight into the foresight, the crossbar is not horizontal. If there a way to readjust the crossbars so they will be horizontal? If it is somehow adjustible, do I need a special tool to do so? None came with the iris.

The device, when sold new, comes with a small semicircular stamped metal spanner for adjustment.
I suspect that if you contact the company they might provide one.

Thanks! I'll try ordering one. I was able to get the locking ring loose and can adjust it now, but it would be a lot easier with the spanner wrench.

Just had this problem last week: friend got a FWB601 with that in the front sight, same issue with the orientation. Champions Choice has the spanner you need for $3.
