butt plate

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF A FWB 500 BUTT PLATE FITS A FWB 601.IF SO WHERE CAN I FIND ONE. THANKS
Typically, it is the buttplate carrier not the buttplate that needs to fit the rifle. Looking a pics of both the 500 and 601, they both look like they are using Anschutz buttplates.
The carrier (which allows the buttplate to be moved vertically and change the length of pull) will normally have long slotted holes allowing for almost universal fitment to most rifles.
You should be able to fit almost any buttplate & its carrier to any production competition rifle. Your choice are not limited to FWB, but also include Anschutz, Gehman, MEC, and several others that are not as well know.
