News on the SSP-E

For those of you out there who are hanging out for the Walther SSP-E, I heard from the local importer that Walther has advised all of it's distributors/importers that shipments won't commence until December now.

On a positive note, sales of the LP400 range have been going ballistic, so much so that Walther has put on extra shifts at the factory to keep up with the demand.

I heard a rumor that there were issues with the electronics and because of that they were delaying the shipping by at least 6 months, this would put it out to around 2012.

Not sure though, maybe someone more enlightened than I could confirm?
