Clark, Marvel, or other for custom bullseye 1911
I am considering puchasing a custom built bullseye pistol in 1911 form and would like to hear about anyone's experiences with Clark custom, Marvel custom or any other custom gunsmiths. TYIA

I've been happy with David Santurri in Massachusetts. See http://www.santurriltd.com/
1911 Wadgun
Have the Les Baer, but think I should have paid for the 1 1/2" group guarantee. But in the mean time, as far a accuracy goes, 25yd. 5-shot groups nearly all touch. I am not fond of the GI grip panels, so off they went and Karl Nills Adj. Match grips on it with the Ultra Match Dot. Now, that's a combination!

I second the Dave Salyer recommendation. Fine man, good gunsmith and you should not have to wait a year for your gun. However, if you have not shot much bullseye or are returning after several years break, I would suggest buying a used gun and figuring out such details as whether you prefer a roll or crisp trigger, long, medium or short, arched or flat mainspring housing, beaver tail, frame or slide dot mount etc.
match grade 1911's
Contact Greg Derr at derrprecision.com. He is a poster on this forum, builds excellent quality match 1911's, and is an outstanding bullseye and international pistol shooter. He knows accuracy and nothing goes out the door unless it is right. I have known Greg for years and he is very particular about his work.
Dave Salyer Contact Info
Can anyone provide the contact info, Email or phone number for Mr. Salyer, I have wrote to him more than once to the address that appears on prior posts, but to no avail.
Thanks.
Thanks.
