The tri-county indoor season has just ended. You could meet many of the league members at these outdoor events: http://www.isra.org/pistol_league/ISRA_ ... e_2011.pdf

The Aurora Sportsmen's Club (Waterman) has an outdoor league running this summer - the second Sunday of each month (including this coming Sunday - 6/12). We also will hold an approved outdoor 1800 in August.

Southport in Kenosha has Pistol leagues, but that is a long haul from Buffalo Grove. If you have any Police connections, the North Suburban Police Pistol League used to shoot in B-Grove and other Police ranges in that area. They shoot Bullseye and PPC, alternating every week.Elgin is probably your best bet. They used to field a team in the Chawaba league, but they might shoot Tri County now.

B.E. Leagues in WI

I understand that the Southport Club in Kenosha no longer has B.E. leagues as of 3(?) years ago. Apparently the group that shot there on Wednesday nights was only renting the range for that 1 particular evening. For some reason, (insurance, liability, etc.) Southport demanded that these league shooters now become actual Southport Club members as opposed to just being "guests" renting the range for the night. The league objected as their costs per person would increase quite a bit; as a result, it fell apart. The leagues at Shooters Sports Center in Racine, WI picked up a few new people because of this. It is certainly possible that a new B.E. league started again but with the requirement that all who shoot in it must now become a club member as well!
