It's more expensive to shoot sub 6.

I have a 50m range in my back yard and I shot center hold. All I used for a target was the repair center. Since I switched to sub 6 I have to build a new frame to hold the whole target so I can practice with the same size white as when I go to a match. Bummer.

That should be a one-off expense if you keep using the repair centers - hint: dont use a full size target for the extra white, instead make up the square with ply painted with a color match for the 'white' of the target.

I think you will find this minor one time expense is more than made up for by the cost savings of not having to drive to a range just one time.

I really don't want to rebuild my target frame, however, my post was tongue-in-cheek. Even so, I like Spencer's idea of paint. I think I'll take a target to the paint store and have them "read" the exact color for me.
