This is a very basic question, I have heard of the electronic trigger but did not have the chance to try it or have seen someone who did. Will you please give me some information about it and the difference between it and the regular trigger. Thanks for your patience.

An electronic trigger uses a microswitch to trigger the sear release via a solenoid.

It has the advantage of constant pressure over a mechanical trigger.

When the shot breaks the electronic trigger does not suddenly change pull weight. It stays the same. So some people prefer the feel over the mechanical type.

It is a preference thing though, you really need to try both types to see what you shoot best with.

I have a Steyr LP10 and a LP10E. For me at the moment the LP10E has given me a slightly improved release and better feel of the shot direction over the mechanical version. But it is a close run thing between them.
