bolt handle on walther lg30

I have a Walther lg30 and was switching it to left hand from right hand and broke the plastic cocking lever handle. I noticed the newer ones have a metal handle. I am not sure if I can order the original style plastic handles but, figure the new metal ones are better anyway. Does anyone know of any issues with replacing these handles? It should be just a matter of removing the one pin and replacing the new handle on there. Right?
Does the new cocking lever have to be fitted by a gunsmith?
