Can anyone recommend a good book covering 10m pistol target shooting? I am keen to improve my technique having just got a rather nice MG1E...

"Olympisches Pistolenschiessen" from Heinz Reinkemeier, published by MEC - and this book would be my recommendation today if anybody asks for a good 2010 pistol book. No english translation is available yet.

The fundamentals of pistol marksmanship dont change .Distance to the target and degree of dificulty do change.but have nothing to do with shot delivery. As for books, allthat have been mentioned will be of great help in developing your shot sequence and mental approaches to shooting. The US bible is probably the pistol markship manusl available througe the DCM and the USAMU Even if you have most of the others, your library will not be complete with out this manual, Also, re-read what RUSS has posted and try to see where it fits into your progress. Russ is not only a top competitive shooter but has gained a reputation as one of the top coaches in the country. Good Shooting Bill Horton

Thanks to everyone for the very helpful advice. I will, as suggested, reread the advice from Russ and consider it carefully.
