LP1 393g Cartridge shot amount
Anyone know how many shots you get from this size cartridge? I think so far I shot 200 but should that be about it? Is there any rules to the amount of shots taken on a tank? This is a 393g CO2 tank.

A very quick search reveals that our host provides the manual for the LP1.

Claimed shot count approx. 200 shots with the 187,5mm long cylinder,
approx. 150 shots with the 157,5mm long cylinder.

Hi Dart, The number of shots depends greatly on how much velocity your
LP1 is dialed in at. I have gotten over 235 shots with my LP1-C when it was
set to low 500s with lower weight(7.3grn) pellets. I've since increased the
velocity to around 535 fps with those pellets; I still get over 220 shots, so
I really am not concerned with shot count; because my extra cylinder is
always full.

The long cylinder (at least the aluminium one) doesn't weigth 393g !David Levene wrote:Steyr also give the total weight, cylinder plus maximum gas fill.Makris D. G. wrote:393gr?? Are you weighing the whole cartridge? CO2 containers are rated by the amount of CO2 they hold...
393g is the 187.5mm long cylinder, expected to be approximately 200 shots.
The amount of shots/cylinder for CO2 is indeed above 200, i.e. much more that with an air cylinder.

I guess that it must then be the old steel cylinders ?David Levene wrote:From page 23 of the Steyr manual referenced above:-jipe wrote:The long cylinder (at least the aluminium one) doesn't weigth 393g !
"Maximum total weight (Resulting from TARA plus flling quantity) = with length 187,5 mm = 0,393kg"
If you think Steyr are wrong then take it up with them.
