The title says it all...has anyone tried the S&B .32 S&W long wadcutters? I've got a line on some.

Yup, they are certainly cheaper than the Lapua 32s. They shoot fine, however, the brass is cheaper (thinner?), so if you reload, the brass may not be as good as the Lapua brass.

You are most correct on the brass---however, that being said, I would be careful as to the gun you might use to shoot these S&B loads. It might be too hot for such as Hammerli, Pardini and Benelli ---it could cause any kinds of damage---I can guarantee that hot loads will destroy Pardini magazines (personal embarrassing experience). I used S&B .45 ACP used brass for many years for Bullseye loads for the long & short lines---but I had to swage the primer pockets, and they tolerated at least 4 re-loads. I had a non-ending supply from a friend who just loved the .45's and shot lots and lots of S&B .45ACP's---I couldn't say you would have to swage the pockets on the .32's????? "Doc"
