Pellet advice for P700

Purchasing a used P700, wood laminate stock, later today. Has anyone done any testing and determined what brand and size pellet works best in theirs.
And how close will the info others have found relate to mine? Are there so many variations between rifles that what works best for one shooter in the same model gun may not be in the ballpark for another gun of the same model?
Also, is there a "shelf life" on pellets?

Two identical P700 will shoot differently and WILL like certain types of pellets better than others. There are no two barrels alike even of the same make and model and for this reason they will prefer diffrent pellets. Try different pellets and see which one groups the best.
There is no 'shelf life' for pellets, but you do have to keep them as dry as possible, cause they will oxidize from humidity.

As Kevin said, no two airrifles (of the same manufacturer) will shoot best with the same brand of pellet. But, there are higher odds that a narrowed selection is a good place to start.
My P70 likes thw following:
H&N Finale (rifle) Match 4.50
R10 (rifle) 4.50
Meisterkuelgn
Remember, even head sizes can make a difference. For example; H&N Finale Match comes in 4.48, 4.49, 4.50, and maybe 4.51. Choosing one head size over the other can make a difference too.
If you spend about 30 minutes searching, you will see a pattern, order them, and begin your testing.
