What is the best way to do this. Is it best to just shoot a target and move sights after checking hits? Does a vise help? Thanks

It depends on how well you can shoot.

If you are a relative newbie, shoot a single target with 20 or more shots. Ignore the really far out shots and pick the center of the group. Adjust the sights (about 4 clicks per scoring ring) to center the group.

Do it again. Don't "chase your shots" by making an adujstment after just a few; it doesn't work.

If you're a good shot, you'll know when to adjust.

Thanks that really helped! Now I have a group of shots evenly grouped in the 9 to center ring. I guess I just continue shooting at this setting until I get them grouped even closer and adjust as needed.
