Can an Australian citizen legally living in the US (permanent resident) get by with membership of USA Shooting, or would you require membership of Pistol Australia?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yeah sure, you're all good (with your USA Shooting membership), no need for Pistol Australia membership.

You probably saw it, but just to make sure you don't get into trouble :
AUTHORIZATION TO TRANSPORT FOR VISITORS
Competitors who are not residents in Canada and are visiting must obtain an authorization to transport for their firearms.

Contact "la Sureté du Québec" to obtain this authorization.
Sureté du Québec
1701 Parthenais
Montréal, Québec www.sq.gouv.qc.ca/
514-598-4584

You will be required to provide the date of your arrival, date of departure and the address where you will be staying. The following information will be required for each firearm: the calibre, barrel length, loader or cylinder number. Please note this procedure could take up to one month.
(Air pistol, unless it's over 500 feet/sec, are not considered as firearm.)

Even if it's in Quebec, we'll have English speaking volunteers and organisators. Granby also has an English community, so you should have no problem to get around.

If you need any other information, don't hesitate to ask! =)

Hope to see you there!

Thanks!

Philippe
