I think it should be about 170/173 metres per second, sorry for not giving it in FPS, can you convert this. Or, E Mail Steyr.

thats a little slow with 8.2 match pellets, but not unreasonably so, not enough to affect accuracy in anyway. If you are shooting other weight pellets, then the speed could go up or down.

I recently sold my Steyr LG1 SSP and it was shooting over the chrony at ~600 fps with 7.9g pellets. I am right at about sea level so that may give me a little more speed. Yours sounds like it is ok at 540 fps if you are using 7.9-8.4g pellets. At 10m it won't make any difference really. I shot mine out to 45 yards for sihouette outside so the extra 10% in speed while not much was a plus. The 8002 I replaced the Steyr with shoots 570-575 with 8.4g pellets. Some of the 10m pistols especially CO2 models didn't usually crack 500 fps so 540 should be fine.

Will get the tank refilled and fill the cylinder to 2900 and see if that make a diff. If not I'll send it to Scot to work his magic on it.
