I just read that the number of registered competitors for the World Cup has gone over 2100.
Is the event always this big?
I am thrilled as my 14 year old daughter has made the Aussie team to compete.
Her first overseas trip, and it happens to be half way around the world.
Lots of training happening in the next 7 weeks.

Congratulations to your daughter and also to you (I'm sure you will have had some input).
Munich this year is not a World Cup, it is the World Championships.
As such there will be the full range of ISSF events, not just the few Olympic events that are held at World Cups.
World Cups are major events, but cannot be compared to the World Championships.
Once again, congratulations to your daughter.

Thanks David,
She puts a lot of hard work in and I try to help and motivate her, but the best work and results come from her coach Anatoly.
Australia has some very good young pistol shotters and it can all be thanks to him and his wife Dina.
I wish I could attend the event too, but as it happens I am leaving for Germany for a wedding four days after my daughter arrives back home.
It may be karma, as she shoots better when dad isnt there!!
Cheers
