target changer backboard

What is your experience with target changer?

The backboard is angled 45 degree. So if the pellet strikes the board, it should be deflected directly downward.

If that is the case, shouldn't I see pellet/ paper all over the floor?

Looks like the pellet trap is located at the end of the backboard. So does that mean the pellet would strike the backboard, then coast along the board into the trap?

Never used those changer before. Does the pellet trap at the end of backboard work well? Or I see some pellet/ paper in trap and some all over the floor?

If you are talking about the bullet trap, our range uses them.

Basically, the pellet hits the plate, loses some energy as it deforms, and is guided downwards into the bullet trap. It works as it's supposed be i guess.

There are tons of pellets on the floor at our range =P but that's because the pellet trap is full and no one bothered to empty them. Pellets coming in hot will 'splash' into a full trap and spill some out.

cheers,
Mike
