Revolver trigger job

Has anyone out here done any work toward taking down a Smith & Wesson Model 14 trigger to 1000 grams and still keeping reliable primer strikes?
Just wound down the main spring set screw a tad on a practically unused 14-3 and best I could get was about 1350 with an occasional light hit ( could have been a case of hard primers).

You might consult with Davis out of Northern California or SDM Fabrication out of Akron, Ohio.

Try lightening the trigger return spring.

You can only back off the hammer spring so much before it won't ignite the primer. Jerry Miculek has a video available showing the ways to properly accomplish the job. He sells a lighter hammer and rebound spring, or you can retain the OEM hammer spring and fit a lighter rebound spring from Wolff.
