Could someone explain the meaning of this term?

You get a good sight picture but you are blocked from releasing the trigger because your mind thinks that if you continue, you can improve on the sight. The result is a block to the finger releasing the trigger.

This is what I understand by the term.

Happens to me ALL the time. I hate it.
