Recently started shooting a Kimber 82G with factory sights. If I hold my head comfortably erect when mounting the rifle, I don't see any white around the front globe. As a result, I'm forced to bend my head forward to get the sight picture.
Do shooters use different rear iris diameters to compensate for head position issues?
Is it logical to use a larger rear iris diameter to permit a more erect head position?
Any advice?

I take it that the Kimber rear sight has only one fixed position? Most target rifles have a dovetail on top of the action that the rear sight slides onto. Then it's only a matter of sliding the sight back & forth until the desired view. Look to see if there is another hole or two where the sight mounts.
That said, yes, you can get an adjustable rear aperture, or try to get an eyepiece of bigger diameter. What you really want to see, however, is the ring INSIDE of the front globe. Seeing the globe hood itself is somewhat unnecessary, but maybe un-nerving. :^) PL
