Convert Morini CM22M from steel to aluminum?

Is it possible to change the shroud on this pistol? And if so, does it take a rocket scientist to do so?

It make make more sense to sell your "steel" gun and buy an aluminum one. The problem however may be selling your steel Morini. I was talking to a few importers and was told that the aluminum gun far out sells the heavy steel gun.
