Pardini K58 maintenance

I just bought a like new K58 sold by Nygord in '04. Included with some allen wrenches was an unopened white tube. I punctured the tip and it contains clear grease. There is nothing in the booklet that came with the pistol about lubrication or what to do with this grease which they saw fit to include with the tools. Lots of searches have been fruitless.

Obviously the outer surfaces should be wiped down and the pivot points lubed, but what about the seals? Is that what the grease is for? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Robert

Silicon grease

That is a very liquid silicon grease. I have several tubes that were sent to me from Pardini in Italy a few years ago. Great stuff - but use VERY sparingly. It will not hurt seals and is suitable for anything that moves.

It is my primary "go to" airgun lubricant.

Use it on the seals. Use it lightly, but if you use a little too much it won't hurt a thing.

Pull the lever ALL the way forward and put a drop or two on the O-ring about every tin full of pellets. If you cock very slowly you can feel if it's dry.
