On the trigger... Check out Rimfire Central, and search the Browning forum for "Heggis". There's a spring-flip that he does, that for many has seemed to lighten the trigger. My Buckmark Bullseye had a decent feeling 2.25lb pull, so I never bothered trying it. Spending $75-$100 at a good smith is probably the best approach, though.
