Your suggestions for new shooting boots

I would appreciate your help and feedback on purchasing new shooting boots.

I have been considering new shooting boots for some time. I'm going to be replacing a very, very old pair of Anshutz 133 boots (these are about 20 years old).

I'll be using the boots for 3position and I have flat and slightly wider feet than normal. I'm leaning towards trying a different brand than Anschutz. I have found the following boots. Please let me know if you have used them and what your experiences have been with fit (do you feel they are designed for narrow feet, etc).

Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Gehmann:

Kurt Thune:

Corami:

Sauer:

Anschutz:

Sauer and Corami seem to have a wider fit than the others.
Kusterman are a narrow fit. Corami are my favourite because they are dead flat and come with 3 different insoles. The lace eyelets also lock down on the lace so you don't lose lace tension.

Thanks for the great feedback! Has anyone tried Kurt Thune or Gehmann and can relate?

Thanks,

Peter

I've tried Thune, Sauer and Kustermann

The Thune didn't fit me very well, the other two fitted very well. I was more impressed with the quality of the Sauer, and they lasted longer and kept flatter for longer than the other two.

Which ever shoe you get, its a good idea to buy the shoe 'spanner' to fit on the sole when they are not in use. This helps to keep the sole flat and prevents curl up.

Anschutz do some good boots. Kurt Thune also do a standing only boot.
One very good make you don't often see is the Truttman shooting boot, but i have no info on it. Sauer and Gehman are as good as any.
