lead power accumulating on top rim of cocking closer

I noticed that my LP10 has a dark rim of gunk lead powder on top of my cocking lever closer ( part that occlude into the barrel). Initially I thought that was oil. I wipe it clean. After 60 shots, it is dark black again.
Is it normal? Where doe that come from, if the cocking closer is tight against the barrel?
