Walther GSP Weight

Has anyone used the 65gm barrel weight on their Walther GSP .22?

I am having a problem with the shots finishing up at 1o'clock and 2o'clock pattern in the 7 ring. This is in both Standard and Rapid Fire.
In Precision, in the 150 second strings, the grouping is around the the 9 and ten ring.

I am not able to lock my wrists properly, these days, (arthritis, and old age!!)

This pattern is also showing up in Free Pistol, after about 20 shots, or so.

I wonder if the barrel weight might stop the Walther jumping quite so much.
I know the gun normally jumps in that direction, but it should not jump quite so much!!

I have looked up the Walther site, and have seen the wieght there, and it is available.

I would appreciate any help/advice/suggestions you can give. I do morning exercises, and do light weight training.
Many thanks,
Alex L.

Are you sure you're not starting to lean back during the series?

I USED TO USE A 70g WEIGHT ON MY GSP. IT DID HELP ON RECOIL RECOVERY, BUT IT DOES ADD SOME WEIGHT TO THE FORE END. '
YOU MAY BE BETTER OFF DOING SOME WEIGHT TRAINING OR WRIST EXCERCISES.

I can see Walther is offering two types barrel weights for the GSP.

2662213 Barrel weight with recoil damper, 75 gram GSP Expert
2476941 Barrel weight 65g, barrel lenght 107mm

Do both this model fit on the old 1985 model GSP? Which model should i buy?

Have some one try weight on the magazin?
