Pellet traps

I recently came across megalink's pellet trap. They collect the spent pellets in a plastic bottle. Anyone ever use them, any comments about them?

That looks like a great idea! My trap is for ever letting pellets bounce out onto the floor - which is a problem with a young child here!

That could be quite expensive and it would have to be shipped from Norway which would include shipping costs.

There are some good pellet traps on the market if you look at the various web sites. Having said that the ones on sale at the NSRA are crap.
I guess this is for home use?

I like the design - I have an old Daisy one that is quite good at catching all the pellets and debri but a bit of a pain to empty.

I have a pellet trap set up in our garage. It is one of those little green boxes that Gehmann sells to perfectly fit ISSF targets. The pellets stay in the trap and once im done shooting for the day I unhook it from the wall and dump them into a container where I keep them.

Peeps, Ya this is for my home range. I currently use a square galvanized flower pot with Duct Seal Clay in the bottom. This works well, but is a pain to empty & clean.

This one is actually for air pistol targets. There are different versions for Air Rifle too. Very cheap and easy to use. I just put a screw into the back wall of our garage and it unhooks very easy to dump the lead out. It is also a pretty quiet pellet trap as well. Inside is a steel plate with a spring behind it so the pellets all stay inside.
