Pardini FP/FPE vs Hämmerli FP 60

I have searched and read, but have not been able to find much positive about the Pardini FP/FPE free pistol. It is not frequently used in the championships, I have been told. Is this gun really that unfavorable?

The Hämmerli FP 60 is made in limited numbers, waiting period come 6 months. Is this gun worth waiting for?

(No, I am not going to consider the Morini M84. I simply do not feel comfortable with that gun, sorry).

(I have formerly owned a MU-55 and a FP10 (which is similar to the MG5).)

I cannot say anything about the Pardini, but the FP-60 I was completely disappointed with when I handled it. I thought the FP-60 was extremely nose heavy and the trigger I was not impressed with at all. The sights were alright but nothing special and the grip did not fit my hand at all. I bought a MG-5 which I am very happy with so far.

Nicole Hamilton posted some very positive impressions of the Pardini K-22 a while ago. I can't believe the new model is all that different unless you opt for the e-trigger.

Indeed the grip is not great but finding the right freepistol grip for your hand is not easy whatever the pistol.

The Hammerli has an extreme rake very different from the CM84, it is a matter of taste.

If you like the Hammerli, I would advise to try to find a 160 special (for instance at http://www.lagardere.ch).
