Tested MG-5E free pistol with 5/10 boxes of ammo.Used Lapau Pistol King,Wolf Match Target,Federal 711B,SK Pistol Match(and special) and RWS Rifle target.I am comparing the MG-5E to the Nilsson equipted(compensator) CM-84E.The fit/finish/quality of pistol is excellent. The battery is commonly available and cost 2-4 dollars. Trigger functioning/adjustments/letoff-excellent.As good or slightly better than CM-84E. I adjusted trigger to 50 gms-same as my other free pistols.Lever to open action has two arms-versus one arm.In my opinion more symetrical/smoother.Inserting cartridge slightly harder because of less space near barrel. The extractor is positive and robust. The compensator, along with very low barrel axis does a superb job.The compensator is extremely easy to take apart/clean. The chamber is not quite as tight as CM-84E which means the pistol can use more brands of decent ammo-which I am delighted about. The movable block??? portion of action has excellent leverage/tolerance for different brands of ammo-an advantage. The rear sight has great adjustability/quality.Without weights-the MG-5E is at least 100gs lighter than the CM84E -an advantage for older folks or if you practice longer periods of time. The GRIP is the most adjustable of all. It allows the pistol (frame) to be adjusted BOTH left or right AND up or down WITHIN the grip so that the shooter can get a natural grip every time(NPA). As far as longevity/reliablity only time will tell.My only regret is the pistol needs more importers/repair/dealers-just in case. The regular version MG-5 mechanical version is a good alternate to the TOZ-35-for those who don't like the electronic trigger.
