Trouble focusing on the front sight

I wear progressive lenses and am having a really hard time focusing on the front sight of my FWB 65.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I also wear progressive lenses but wouldn't use them for shooting. Changing your head position will dramatically change your focus, even more so if your lens has a short corridor.

IMHO you should only use single vision lenses for shooting.

Ditto

I consider progressive lenses to be the best thing since sliced bread; but not for shooting!
I have three set-ups for shooting: my Knoblochs for pistol, Varga with smaller diameter lens for 50m rifle, and a pair of glasses for outdoor service events - all set to the appropriate front sight distance.

I agree with Spencer and David - a dedicated pair of shooting glasses with the exact perscription for the distance from your eye to the front sight will help alot. See this series of articles for relevant material:
