Hammerli 480K2 not firing.

Last night my Hammerli 480K2 stopped firing.

On its last shot it sounded like it was running out of air so I filled the cylinder.

Now it just clicks as if it is on training mode.

I have tried a second cylinder to be sure that wasnt the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be wrong?

I recall having a similar problem with mine in 2000. I would look to see if the o-ring on the cylinder and/or the regulator (the adaptor on the frame) is damaged. Replacing the o-ring in the cylinder can be quite challenging. I ultimately had to send my AP to Hammerli to be fixed.

Looking inside the regulator where the cylinder screws into, I cannot see any oring.

How do you remove the regulator to check the oring inside the gun?

I'm not sure how you would open up the pistol. For what its worth, I had this problem at the 2000 WC in Atlanta and Scott Pilkington with all his tools and expertise couldnt fix it for me. You may need to send it to Hammerli or a Hammerli Repair Centre.

For the forums information Scott ended up loaning me a Morini 162 for the WC - amazing man!
